Outside still says Garwooly's, but also says Jimmy's Route 66 restaurant. Really enjoyed the route 66 decor and was only about 1 out of 5 businesses that still had the nostalgic look from OK city to Chicago, so was a welcome sight since we were doing the old route 66. The inside decor was very nice as well. The food was very good as well as the service. Entering the restaurant notice a small salad bar, that was very clean and stocked well to be small. We ordered the chicken fried steak and side of fried mushrooms. All of the food was very hot and very good. Gave us some really large rolls that were pretty sweet and some type cinammon spread. Made the rolls just like a cinammon rolls. Price was very reasonable. Dinner for two with drinks and salad bar less than 20.00 Was a welcome jewel of the old route 66.
