Stopped by the Amish Cheese House to look over their different offerings. Purchased some ham and cheese from the deli and bought a couple of other things. The place is really busy. The fresh baked bread smelled wonderful. The service was good, but you have to wait in line. I would definitely visit here again.

Across the street form the Dutch Pantry in Choutea, Ok is great store that caries very large selection of Amish food products...and an absolutely wonderful "on-site" bakery. The smell emanating from the ovens is simply divine! Needless to say, we bought a huge assortment of wonderful food products from cheese to butter, and from pizza to fruit pies, plus Amish noodles and jams. The place is great. Whenever your travels take you on Highway 69 through Chouteau, Ok...do yourself a favor...and stop in. You will be glad you did!

Amish Cheese House is a must visit for us whenever we can to stock up on foods we don't have immediate access to in Oklahoma City. 50 different kinds of cheeses and a variety of deli meats finds us getting Lebanon Bologna and Sweet Lebanon, which look like salami, have a mild sour flavor. Also got some Jalapeno Loaf on sale $4.99 a pound, The Lebanon was 7.99 which is a dollar or two cheaper than we can get. They also always have different food items for tasting.

Cashew brittle that melts in your mouth, Low sodium chicken soup flavoring, and sugar free jams filled our cart.

If you are hungry, the restaurant serves good sandwiches and you can't resist the home made ice cream bar next to it. A gift shop includes kitchen utensils and books. Recommend going to their website to take a video tour.

And don't forget to go next door to Nettie Ann's bakery for fresh baked breads, cookies, cakes and pies as well as a frozen section.

Can't miss the very large country style building right on the main highway in Chouteau. Well worth a stop even if just passing through town.

They are the best sandwiches you can eat. They put lots of meant and cheese on the sandwich. Friendly and helpful if you don't know what you want..
