“Good service, food average”

Stopped in here after a football scrimmage. The server was very good and the place is typical of a small town restaurant. The food was average, nothing special. We did like their green beans. The mashed potatoes seemed like they were a little old. It's a neat place and worth the visit.

We stopped on our way back home and found the place to be packed with after church folks. It was packed and noisy but we stayed. I opted for the buffet for $8.49 and it was just okay. There was pasta that was not great and bbq meatballs, thin sliced roast beef in broth, chicken nuggets, cheesy hash browns, applesauce, cole slaw, and potato salad. Nothing tasted homemade, which was very disappointing. The hubby got an omelet with toast which was very good. Our waitress was very sweet and apologetic, but that didx not imprtive the taste of my food.

If you happen to be reading this on your phone from one of the many highways that go through this small town and The Corner Inn is open, get off on the nearest exit (they all lead downtown) and get to this restaurant! It is well loved by travelers and locals.

As you've probably already figured out, it's on the Corner of Sandusky and Walker streets. There is plenty of angled on-street parking.

The first thing you'll discover is hometown friendly service. Don't be afraid to ask questions. The next thing you'll discover is a varied menu. I've thought and thought about what to recommend but that's hard as everything I've had there is delicious. If I had to pick, the corned beef hash is in-house made and outstanding (note it can run out as it's a very popular dish) and the pulled pork is excellent. There is a hot lunch buffet every Sunday and absolutely everything on it is delicious.

So again, to the hangry travelers reading this who only know Upper Sandusky as where you turn off the 4 lane to get to "the lake." Come into this small town and get some excellent home-town cooking. You'll quickly become a regular.

This is an amazing little local place for breakfast with friendly service and good food! They always have a special up on the board, and the coffee is one of the best cups in town. Be sure to make this a place to stop and visit, or make it one of your "regulars"!

Friendly staff and great food! Nice small town atmosphere. Brad's Breakfast Bowl is my favorite and they also have daily lunch specials
