We had a beautiful, relaxing stay at Honey Ridge. We loved how close the cabin was to the attractions Old Man's Cave and Ash Cave, yet it was very serene and isolated up on the ridge in the woods! The cabin was very clean and pet-friendly allowing us to bring our fur babies to hike the trails with us. Then in the evening we relaxed our muscles in the jacuzzi followed by cuddling by the fireplace. It was an amazing way to celebrate our 28th Anniversary.
We stay in the Hocking Hills region every winter, and the main things we look for in a cabin (vacation rental) are seclusion, pet-friendliness, comfortable home, and beautiful surroundings. Honey Ridge pretty much has all of these things. The owners were so kind about us bringing a dog AND a cat along with us, and the house had everything you needed. I particularly loved the artwork. The large jacuzzi tub is very nice and there was plenty of hot water. Though the house is located near the roadway, there is so little traffic that it still feels very secluded. The wooded area behind the house is very large and you can walk around on the property, though trails would make this easier. Overall we had a great time at Honey Ridge and would return.
We stayed at Honey Ridge Cabin over Labor Day weekend. The cabin was clean and so welcoming. We hiked on all of the trails in the area. We had great meals at the local restaurants. Our favorite breakfast place was M&M Diner (And we're Michigan fans). The cabin was centrally located close to all of the hiking trails. There is no cell phone service at the cabin, but my husband and I enjoyed our time together with no interruptions. We plan on returning in the future. Beth was so accommodating and friendly. We appreciate her and her husband for all they did for us.
This was a nice, clean and comfortable cabin. We loved the seclusion and scenery. It was close (a short drive) to all of the best hiking places. The owners were very informative and helpful.
