We stayed here for a couple of nights when touring around Tasmania. We didn't book in advance, but still managed to get one of the rooms overlooking the harbour. Initially, we only booked for a single night, but then decided to stay on so we could do the West Coast Wilderness Railway trip the next day (you get 10% off the trip if you are staying at Strahan Village, which is worth knowing).
The staff were great, really friendly and helpful and the room was clean and very comfortable (and had a fabulous view).
The only downside was that the wireless internet signal was a bit sparse. I could get it while sitting in the restaurant/bar (nice tapas, by the way) but not in the room.

We arrived in Strahan not knowing what to expect and as seasoned travellers hoped for a clean room and comfortable beds. The villa we had above pizza shop was better than we had hoped for it was simply superb and fitted in with rich history of Strahan and it World Heritage surrounds. A little noisy when the pub closes but usually thinned out after 10 - 15 minutes.
Five very relaxing nights in this beautiful location.

Room Tip: Just ask for what you want if it is available they are very obliging.

My wife & I recently stayed 3 nights upstairs in the 'Huon' unit. A bit of a walk on a long up-hill ramp from the car when carrying luggage, but the room was worth it. The weather was brilliant for our entire stay which made the morning harbour view from our room window a great start each day. The central location of the room was fantastic - only a couple of minutes walk to catch the Gordon River cruises or the Queenstown rail/bus tour. Also immediately above the central restaurant area, so very convenient evening dining. The smell of freshly cooked bread wafting up from the bakery underneath at 2am or so each day was an added bonus! Warm & comfortable - maybe a little pricey?? (I don't know - my wife booked it - lol) Laundry facilities a little romote, but not a problem

Room Tip: go for the harbour view in a room such as upstairs in the 'Huon' building

The photos on the website misrepresent most of the accomodation. We expected at least a view of the water. We were in a remote "motel" like room up on the hill overlooking the car park. The room was pretty tired but at least clean. Not too much to choose from in Strahan but I would look around. There seemed to be lots of B and B's in the area.
