We stayed in the Sea Eagle for our wedding anniversary. The location is perfect. Just outside of Stanley and right next to the beach. The cabin was lovely, clean and private. We had a long walk up the beach and never saw a soul. Horses neighing, cows mooing and whip cracking. We also had a visit from the farm dog. We decided to make the most of our one night stay and cooked a meal in the fully equipped kitchen ( couldn't find a chopping board though) . Lots of lighting choices in the living area to set the mood for a romantic meal. There's two tvs, a stereo and a range of travel magazines and novels if you need more than each others company.
Drawbacks were the bed was very firm ( personal choice would be medium or soft) . Moonlight shines in the high windows in the bedroom onto the person on the right side of the bed keeping them awake as there are no blinds. Access to the beach would not suit anyone older or with any mobility issues. I understand they wouldn't want to disturb the natural look of the place but maybe a couple of big rocks to use as steps would help. Also the outdoor spa was not operational which was the reason I booked this accomodation in the first place.
Overall a beautiful place to stay and worth the price. Would definitely stay again ....if the bed was upgraded to something alot less firm

Beautiful spot to sit on the deck and watch the birds and potteroos. The unit was secluded and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Quirky bathroom and nice wooden fittings and furniture. We would have loved to have stayed longer.

This is a beautiful retreat , quiet, no children lots of wildlife, on the beach. Modern units, clean and with everything you could need. Definitely needs more then a one night stay. Very close to Stanley and the nut and Smithton

Room tip: Great views right on the beach very relaxing

Beautiful, quiet spot to relax and unwind. Sadly, the bed is very hard so we didn't sleep well at all. The design is absolutely stunning! We love the large windows and secluded position. Unfortunately we wanted to walk on the beach at sunset but couldn't find a track or path which is a shame when you're right at the beach.
Wouldn't stay again because of the bed, but otherwise highly recommend. A little more care in cleaning wouldn't hurt either. Cobwebs and dead flies are a bit of a turn off

Really pleased with our stay, one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed and the owner could not have been more friendly and lovely about our booking. Regretful that we only stayed one night. Beautiful surrounds and very peaceful and serene. Would recommend to others and / or stay again. Thanks!
