Fantastic to see the seals in their own and natural environment. They seem to be putting on a show. I asked how the boat was allowed so close as usually the tourist need to stay how ever many meters away. The seals know the boat and know the people on it won't feed them or do them harm. Funny when another boat approached after we had been there the seals all disappeared. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The business (boat and cafe) is for sale. A great business for the right people. I, for one, hope it continues.

The boat travels around the stunning Nut on it's way out to a rock covered with seals lounging, swimming and playing! The seals showed off, followed the boat and were generally hilarious. So much fun, we couldn't wipe the smiles off our faces! The skipper and deckhand were lovely guides and we spent a generous amount of time close to the seals. There's a cafe with home-made baked goods where you board the boat. We had such a great time! Highly recommended to all!

I enjoyed a very pleasant cruise to see the seals. Friendly crew and lucky enough to have a bright sunny day. It is good to be able to see the seals in their natural habitat and not caged up in enclosures. The boat could have perhaps spent a few more minutes at the rock but on the whole the viewing their was excellent.

They have two cruiises, advertised daily at 10am, & 3pm.
We went down there this morning at 10am,
to be told that there was no morning cruise,
as there was only the two of us,
but to come back at 2.45.
Which we did, only to be told again,
that there wouldn't be any cruise,
as there was only 4 people interest'ed in going.
The other couple left a couple of minutes before we did.
Without going on a cruise.
We were not told earlier, that this cruise relied on minimum numbers.
Very disappointing.

The staff on board were very helpful and answered any questions as we cruised along. The captain took us very close to the main rock where the seals are and we saw 300+ seals sleeping, playing, swimming etc. The cruise went for a perfect amount of time - it went for about 70 minutes and there was more than enough time to capture photos as the rock is not too far away from the dock itself.
The only downside - the smell from the rock is quite intense, but we thought it all added to the experience!
