Addlestone House Bed and Breakfast
Ranked #1 of 4 St Marys B&B and Inns
Reviewed 16 April 2016

St Marys is a very quiet little town on the East coast of Tasmania, completely unspoilt by tourism. It creates the calmness you dream of after speeding around the rest of the island. It's and ideal place from which to spend a few days and tour around the east coast area.

Peter is the kindest and the most pleasant host you will ever meet. He allows you to share his wonderful home in a most leisurely manner. Within a very short time conversations develop that put you at ease and provides that end of day pleasure of knowing what a great base you are returning to. We have been fortunate to travel to many B&B's around the world and Addlestone House ranks in the upper echelon.

The house and rooms are immaculate and provide a very high standard of comfort in all respects.
We are certain that you will come away, as we did, with a feeling of having met a new friend.

What a pleasant place to stay in this very quite part of Tasmania. Peter is a man of many talents including cooking a great breakfast. Would recommend this place to everyone. The drive in from the coast is also a great experience for those of us from flat Westerns Australia. And GO DOCKERS.

From the moment you walk in you will love this place. From the perfectly cared for garden welcoming you in the front to the gorgeous yard in the back. Once you step inside you will be inspired by the decor, from the living areas to the bedrooms and the ensuites, this place is amazing. Your host Peter is very accommodating and always seemed happy to answer any of our questions. If I'm ever in Tassie I will definitely try to make it back to Addlestone.

Addlestone House is a delightful place to stay on the East Coast of Tasmania. The house is exceptionally well appointed and the attention to detail is supberb. Peter is a delightful host who makes his guests all feel very welcome and very much at home. He provides an excellent breakfast in a relaxed and personal setting. As a special touch he takes a photograph of his guests and sends it on to them as a momento of their visit. We can't recommend Addlestone House highly enough and will certainly be recommending it to any friends and acquaintances who are visiting Tasmania.

Room Tip: The guest rooms are both very quiet and very well appointed
