Excellent place to stop for a quick budget meal. Sorell Café is a short drive from the airport and on the tourist route to Port Arthur. This place seems very popular with locals. Order at the counter and your meal is then brought to your table. Food is wholesome, tasty and excellent value. The scallops with chips and salad were great so I went a second time for a hamburger... It was superb - check out the photo!

A lovely cafe opposite Macdonalds in Cole Street. Fresh fish served with chips or chips and salad. The best around. A baked meal is served on Sundays but book or go early as the cafe fills fast. A variety of fast foods are served. Friendly staff who are happy to assist. This is a Diner atmosphere. Good coffee served to the temperature you request. Highly recommended as a stop over for a quick tasty meal.

Good little cafe opposite Golden Arches (I like supporting independent businesses). The coffee was good but the little quiches are beautiful! I'm getting a second.

Located across from McDonald's.
Excellent quality fish n chips
Friendly service if a bit slow
Diner atmosphere

We are traveling Tasmania and Australia and I am amazed to say it was the best fish n chips I've had if you just talk food and not location and atmosphere.
