As the weather was horrendous, we opted for the motel instead of camping. Looking at the camping site, I think you will be well pleased to choose it as a stop-over. Nothing spectacular, but quiet, pleasant and flat - seemed like good amenities.

The motel was a pure delight! One of the best motels I have ever stayed in - in fact the best Australian motel I have ever stayed in, because I don't like Australian motels, and this one proved me wrong. It was excellent. Hosts were friendly and helpful, but the rooms were really comfortable. Sleep very quiet.

Nonetheless, Ross is not the kind of place that holds much more attraction than an afternoon or day at the most. It is a small town with very cute stone houses and a weird stone church on a hill completely devoid of trees or shrubbery. Main street is a delight to walk down, but it's joys are limited in number. Great place to visit.

Hello Michael and hoping your travels are good. Thank you for your words of appreciation of our motel. We do think it is special and comfortable. The village like town of Ross holds different things for everyone and is very historical. Ross is a good central place to base your holiday plans from as travel distances are comfortable. Best wishes for your holiday.

I would highly recommend this motel. It is a beautiful spot with fantastic rooms. They are spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable. The owners are so friendly and we went back twice on our visit to Tasmania and will stay there again.

What a gem this little Park is. Flat, grassed sites with clean amenities. Owners are pleasant & helpful.
The Park is a block from the Main Street of Ross.
Highlights is the little arts & craft shops & for the photographer, the Ross Bridge on dusk is a must do.

We stayed in the caravan park for three nights on a pleasant grassy site. Amenities were clean with good hot water and two electric BBQs in the camp kitchen. The motel hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We would stay here again to see the sites of the area.

We booked this motel on Wotif and were very surprised on the attention to detail of the management. The motel is one street off the Main Street of Ross and is extremely quiet.
The grounds of the motel are immaculate with well kept lawns and lovely flower beds. The reception has a fridge where you can purchase a bottle of wine an some beers at reasonable rates. I found this particularly handy after a day on the road.
The rooms are clean and tidy with good block-out curtains. Free WiFi was offered and worked okay. Beds were good although pillows were a bit flat.
The local hotel was very close and we enjoyed a very nice evening meal and then walked home.
Overall, a great place for a quiet overnight stop.

We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and the village of Ross. We do try to exceed in our presentation and service. Our rooms have a selection of pillows which is referred to in the guest compendium and in our case they are in the wardrobe. Just a little hint for your next good motel sleep. Thank you for taking the time to comment on our motel.
