Best coffee we had in Tassie and great breakfast menu..... sit outside in the sunshine or inside and listen to the local goss. Friendly service too.

Had a delicious Sunday breakfast from table 1 which looked out through the doorway over the deck towards the ocean.
Unfortunately the deck tables were occupied. great coffee, friendly customer focused staff. Chef making delicious home made scones and carrot cake whilst we were there. Well done

Popped into Penguin on our drive up to Stanley. penguin itself is a funky seaside village with a vibrant feel. The Letterbox Cafe has a welcoming shopfront and little deck whilst inside is light and spacious.

Unfortunately the food was average. Whilst the salads accompanying our meals where top notch our meals missed the spot. My salmon bagel had way too much cream (cheap) cheese. If it was toasted it would have presented way better as it was just doughey and a tad bland.

My partners tart looked and tasted better.

I have a feeling we came on a bad day as the place was well patronaged.

The Cafe provides a cosy atmosphere and when sitting outside you look directly at Bass Strait. Selected menu providing delicious food and the owner and staff are very hospitable and friendly.

Delightful little cafe on the coastal road to Devonport. We noticed the outdoor tables, and despite the humble exterior we found a welcoming and trendy vibe inside. We enjoyed the coffee and healthy lunch options. The staff were very friendly.
