Its not a flash cafe but that is its charm. The staff are very warm and friendly and the building in its original state. The setting is beautiful as this is a very charming town.

My husband and I called into Oatlands on our way to Hobart. A lovely little town with many historical homes, many now converted for accommodation. Unfortunately the mill has been closed down. The Scones and tea were $12 and totally worth it! They were massive! Jam might have been homemade, very fruity. Cafe was run by a mother daughter team working well together! Antique shop attached to the cafe. Highly recommend

The service may be a little slow (only one person serving on Monday of our brunch visit) but it is definitely worth waiting for. The coffee was great, the ambience was extremely pleasant and the service was faultless. To top it off, the 2 focaccias that we shared were magnificent & the light bread that she uses is super divine (not hard like usual focaccia). Nice outdoor seating and surrounds if weather pleasant. Inside there was a wood fire going for the cool Monday visit.
