Gosh, we stopped here for a quick breakfast to take on our way to the national park. The breakfast pie and pastry were great! Coffee and chai latte were good, as always. For lunch I took away a chicken avocado sandwich on pita and it was truly excellent! Glad we stopped here.

Banjos is a chain I have discovered. Consistently good decor, service and food. They seem to have different combo deals to temp you to buy more. Safe choice like a macas.

Passing through New Norfolk we came across Banjos Bakery, it was the first time we had seen one of these franchises. Seeing as it was the only place open at that time on a Sunday we decided to give it a go.

Found it a bit hit and miss, the Fruit and Nut toast was delicious, however the bacon and egg pie had no taste at all. Coffee was average yet my wife's tea was very nice. The sausage roll was enjoyable yet a tad oily.

The place seemed popular yet I am not sure if that is due to it being the only place open at that time or the locals genuinely like the fare on offer.

Compared to the franchise at Strahan (separate review), this particular store seemed like the neglected black sheep of the franchise family.

Would I recommend the bakery, yes probably, however I would not rave about it.

Stopped for a coffee and something. Good space to stop and excellent range of baked goods. Sausage rolls were unusual
