“Mummy Treat”

This is my Mummy treat every month or so while hubby and the kids fight over their treat, the usual suspects Pizza (4 pizza shops in New Norfolk *eye roll*), Subway or McDonalds.
Love the omelettes and Buck Bo Farn (curried)
Decent sized meals, reasonable prices.
Nothing fancy but fancy is not needed in New Norfolk.
The theatrics when eating in when food comes wafting out on sizzle plates and the huge domes of Buck Bo Farn or Chow Mein piled up on the plates is wonderful.
A well presented diamond in the rough.
Family run, even the kids get in and have a go which is lovely to see.

This Chinese restaurant was a welcome find. The restaurant was very nice, the staff friendly and efficient without being intrusive. The food was very very nice and we enjoyed the experience very much. Would recommend it without any hesitation.

Had no expectations as Sunday night - very little else available
Friendly, efficient and courteous service. Menu was like going back in time to a simpler era.
Gargantuan portions, struggled getting through the enormous menu and choices, warm atmosphere and friendly staff
Don't expect some wanky celebrity chef ambience and fancy menu that needs an interpreter and you won't be disappointed.
Good simple honest food that filled the family.
Bit of a local secret, surprise yourself

We ordered takeaway and had Crispy Chicken in Plum Sauce, Mongolian Beef and a Shanghai Special. The meat has been tenderized in bi-carb soda and is u recognizable as chicken or beef. Very few vegetables and sliced ham in the fried rice! Stringy fried chicken cooked in oil hat tasted of fish and chips.
Sorry, but worst Chinese food we've ever had

very friendly service, even so we didn't have a booking last Saturday night, we got a table for 4 without a problem.
