Stayed two nights in a cabin on our 40th Wedding Anniversary tour of Tassie en route to Richmond from Launceston so we could spend time at the Freycinet NP. On arrival we were upgraded from a one to a two bedroom cabin (No. 9), although we didn't need the space for just us two!
The receptionist was friendly and informative, except no WIFI info provided, but we lived without that for two nights.
Whilst the cabin was spotlessly clean and tidy, the family living area was a bit lacking in creature comforts e.g. cushions, table lamp(s). The couches were built-in and were really quite uncomfortable. We moved one of the bedside table lamps to the lounge rather than having the large ceiling ball lights on that were "in ya face". The bathroom was really nice, very clean as was the kitchen, which had just sufficient supplies although the knives were blunt. Both rooms looked like they were fairly recently renovated. The bed was comfortable although it moved if you sat up in bed!! Plus, we only found the electric blanket wire by accident (was tucked under the mattress).
The driveway outside needs some attention as quite rutted and the park looked like it's undergoing some upgrades and looked a little tired in places but overall, for our two nights, was perfectly located and the cabin was adequate although as caravan owners, would not have chosen it.
Recommend for short stay to visit the NPs.
