The seafood was good and fresh however the selection was limited for those non-seafood eaters. This is strictly for the oyster, crayfish and scallop lover. The oyster prices would probably vary from time to time but they weren't the cheapest i found in Tassy. Never the less they were good.

This was an Aladin's cave of sea food. The staff were very helpful about selection and choice of products on offer. We took ours away but you can also eat on site.

I don't really understand the appeal of a Marine Farm in a location which is full of ocean seafood. Anyway, we arrived here late-ish (around 4pm) and most of the takeaway seafood was gone. All that was left was Oysters which were admittedly tasty and cheap. Bit of a tourist trap in my opinion.

After skipping breakfast expecting to have a large, fresh seafood lunch, my partner and I ended up being quite disappointed with the quality of food at this place. The cutlery, plates and tables were quite dirty. I had to sort through at least 10 forks until I found one without left over food on it. Our tables had stains and scraps all over it, as they have a system of customers piling up their dirty plates, cutlery and food into bin slots. I have no problem with this but this meant that waiters didn't wipe down tables to pick up the scraps of seafood which were left on our table.

The only thing we enjoyed was the salmon sashimi - it tasted quite fresh and we were excited with the food that was to come next. We also ordered the scallops, mussels and oysters in ginger and soy sauce and we were disappointed with the tasteless and watery seafood. The mussels were meant to be soaked in thick tomato, chilli sauce, but instead they was floating around in lukewarm tomato flavoured water. The oysters were cooked, when on the menu it didn't say anything about them being cooked, so I expected fresh oysters with a light ginger and soy sauce drizzled over them. The oysters were baked and drenched in this tangy, watery and salty sauce. The oysters were okay however, not as fresh as I had hoped. My partner had the scallops and said they were also quite bland. I cannot recommend this place - especially when there are so many amazing seafood places in Tasmania.
