Located right on the bay, the location is great. We stayed in a king room looking over the bay. The room was clean & comfortable but there were a couple of maintenance issues that needed attention. Given the price, I would expect everything to be in order.
We recently stayed for our 30th Wedding Anniversary for two nights in an Ocean View King Suite. Rooms are beautifully appointed with many practical elements( such as a cheese board, nice coffee and toaster!) Location is fabulous and you step out to a small deck and then straight onto the beach. We also ate at Lure Bar which was very nice. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Will definately be back.
Really great place to stay our room looked directly out to the ocean and hills with spectacular views. Comfortable king sized bed .the room was clean and tidy and very comfortable. I was concerned after reading other reviews but shouldn't have been .they don't service the room every day and the tap water is brown but all this is explained on check in and was not a problem for us .will definitely be back The restaurant on site Lure which is run separately was outstanding the food and service was excellent
We are staying in a cottage for 4-nights and cannot be happier. I was really concerned about previous negative comments, but for us everything worked. Mr. L at reception on check in was lovely - gave me some local and walking information.
We definitely did not expect a 5-star Versace hotel, however for what we paid our cottage is amazing - clean, spacious and updated. We even have and amazing view over the bay/mountains (no. 7).
Beach gorgeous.
Hubby loves the free bikes (cyclist) - not flash but doing the job. And the wood BBQ a big hit with us.
We also like the restaurant/bar - note this is ran seperate to the resort and you need to book. However we walked in for drinks a few times and it was never a problem. Only going for dinner on Monday, therefore can’t comment yet. Will definitely staying again.
Didn’t stay but the booking process was appalling, the staff clueless and unhelpful. Similarly given the reviews on this site from people who have managed to navigate the calamitous booking process, it looks like a place to definitely avoid !
