We had the pleasure of staying in one of these cottages for two nights. On arrival the fire had already been lit which was much appreciated as it was quite cold being winter. The cottage due to this was very welcoming. The cottage was also very clean with all amenities required. Perfect location as the visitor centre is only up the road where you can enter the National Park and catch the shuttle bus and choose from various tour options. We had a great stay here

Room tip: Although many cottages on the property - all are quite secluded from each other

We stayed here for two nights in December.

The cottage was very clean and we very much welcomed the bath and the fire at the end of long days of walking. The cabin was fit out with basic cooking equipment which served our needs really well.

The cottage is a small walk to the bus into the park which we used a few times. We did get up very early one morning and drove into the park so we could be out walking for the first sunrise of 2019.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also took advantage of purchasing some additional supplies at the front desk which were the same $$ as what we paid elsewhere.

We look forward to coming back again one day!

We may not have seen the mountain due to the dreary weather but the mountain view spa cottage proved to be a warm charming cottage to relax and unwind. Watching the constant changing weather in front of the log fire was beautiful. The cottages are well appointed, the hearty breakfast basket exceptional and the wine available from reception both plentiful and reasonably priced.

Great cottage, exceptionally clean, with well equipped kitchen. Bed, plus bed linen very comfy. There are really lovely views to cradle mountain, both from lounge and bedroom windows. . The bathroom is quite big with a good spa bath and decent size shower (loved the toiletries). They definately supply a really huge amount of fire wood which is kept dry in a wood box in the entry of the cottage. We found TV reception to be really good, but then we only watched Sunrise on channel 7 in the mornings. The wood fire is very cosy, but be prepared to get up during the night to put a log on, to keep it going. Unfortunately hubby didn't do this the third night so we woke to a cold cottage. To solve that problem would be an electric upright blow heater, just to get it warmed up while, hubby re-lites the fire. I know there is a small wall electric heater in the bedroom, but this doesn't work well at all when the fire goes out.
"All in all" this a lovely place to stay, especially for a couples anniversary & honeymooners alike. Oh, did I mention they left for our anniversary a bottle of champagne. But, I have to apologise to them, we didn't drink it and left it behind, being Winter we were only interested in drinking Pinot Noirs, which we bought from reception for extremely reasonable prices, it was too cold for champagne.

We had a nice time in our Cabin as a family of five. Not flashy, but with a great atmosphere and very comfortable. Upstairs bedrooms were great as a separate space from the living here. Each bunk had its own individual light, which is handy for children of different ages. Walking distance to the information centre and buses to cradle mountain. Warm inside the cabin. The reception service was fine, but didn't volunteer information that would have been handy to know - like where the laundry was, location to the visitor centre etc.
