The guy at the front counter was great, very friendly and helpful. I thought the price was a bit rich, given the room I stayed in, which was right up the back in a tired lack-lustre block of rooms. The room and bed were comfortable, but hot tap water was discoloured, and I never been in a motel room that wasn't air-conditioned before (?). I didn't use any of the in-house facilities due to my short stay.

All-in-all...clean, neat, comfortable.

We left feedback in the room, so out of not wanting to be negative, I wont write anything further to that. Wellers is central, good view, very small rooms, but it's what we needed just for a night. Don't feel it was value for money, as we had paid $20 cheaper the night before for somewhere else, and it was far more suited to us.

The staff are very friendly and the views are excellent, particularly from the restaurant during breakfast. The was a good selection of food available for breakfast including cooked to order hot breakfast and coffee. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower water pressure was not very good and temperature was variable. The location is reasonably close to town but requires walking down a fairly steep hill. Exit from the parking area was a bit tight unless in the front units.

Room tip: Rooms in the front have easiest access to and from parking area

Recently had to overnight in Burnie and Wellers Inn was very close to town ( walking distance) staff friendly, room very clean with all the basic features that were needed. I would recommend this hotel for any short stay in Burnie.

We arrived in Burnie on a cold afternoon. Booked in. Room had heater going, which was lovely. It had a list of all the local eateries, which was handy. Good location. Very clean and quiet. Friendly staff. Nice comfy bed. Would recommend!
