My partner and I booked an inala nature and weren't too sure what to expect.
We were blown away by the tour, our personal guide Kat was amazingly knowledgeable and very good at spotting all the different wildlife types around! We had a wonderful time talking about nature and seeing wonderful endemic and endangered species in their natural habitat.
The Jurassic garden is equally as amazing and so is the museum.
If you are looking for the hidden gem on Bruny this is it! We could not recommend it more highly for locals and tourists!
The only regret my partner and I have is not staying on the property so we could spend more time there!
I feel this is going to be a regular visiting spot of ours now.
Thank you Inala we look forward to coming back in the near future.
Thank you for such a lovely review and for taking the time to tell others about your time at Inala. We are thrilled you discovered Inala and enjoyed your walking tour of the Conservation Reserve with Cat. We can't wait to welcome you back again, hopefully to stay in one of our cosy cottages.
Very best wishes,
Two tours, two islands - lots of birds. Andrew led us in a multi-day excursion to two of Tasmania’s special islands. We saw many birds including all but one of the Tassie endemics, pademelons, quolls and possums. Andrew provided a stimulating and informative commentary on all that we saw and we particularly enjoyed his knowledge of the plants that support such unique wildlife. The accommodation on Inala was perfect for this type of adventure, the meals are of a high standard and the whole team made our time with Inala a pleasure. We would gladly recommend Inala for your wildlife travels once the world opens up again but especially if you are a looking for something special in Australia right now. The conservation ethos espoused, promoted and practiced by Inala is just what the world needs so be sure to give them your support.
Thank you so much for your lovely review.
We are so delighted that you enjoyed your tours with Andrew to two of Tasmania's most beautiful and wildlife filled islands and we are thrilled that staying with us at Inala on Bruny was also so enjoyable for you.
It was a pleasure meeting you and having you to stay and hope that we get to see you again one day,
Very best wishes from us all.
Angus and Tonia did an amazing job, taking our small group around Australia's Top End in late June, early July. We managed to stay one step ahead of the Covid lockdowns, and a big thank-you to Mandy and the office staff who had a lot of re-arranging to do with out itinerary and accommodation.
And what an awesome trip it was, with some great birds. Gouldian Finch, Hooded Parrots, Rainbow Pitta and a host of others.
My 2nd trip with Inala, and I look forward to travelling with them again in the near future.
Dear Randall, Thank you so much for your lovely review and your very lovely photographs, it means a great deal to us and we are just delighted that we managed to squeeze in the tour between lockdowns.
Delighted you had such a great selection of birds in the Top End and we would be thrilled to tour with you again.
Best wishes,
Tonia, Angus and the whole Inala team

Did the Bruny Island day tour, it was amazing. All staff were so friendly and designed the tour to our preferences. Our guide Andrew was so knowledgeable on the Island's flora, fauna and history. We saw and learnt so much and will remember the great experience for a long time. Highly recommend
Thank you for your lovely review Robert, we are so glad you enjoyed your tour of beautiful Bruny with Andrew. We are delighted that you discovered us and hope that one day we get to take you on another nature tour again in another incredible part of Australia.
A great tour combining Outback Queensland with Cape. A superior guide (Steve Davidson) did his best to find all the iconic birds and animals in both areas of Queensland. A highlight of the first part was a 'dinosaur dig' where everyone managed to find some 100myo fossils. Saw a total of 122 birds in the Outback and 160 in Cape York.
Dear David,
Thank you so much for your review of your two tours to Outback Queensland and Cape York with Tonia and Steve. Both are such special places in Australia and we are so glad you got to see such a great tally of birds in both locations . Thrilled you enjoyed the dinosaur dig, Tonia has been gushing about the fossils every since she returned from tour. :)
We hope to help you explore more wonderful areas of Australia in the future,
Best wishes,
I had a wonderful 3 Day/Night Tour of Bruny Island with Karen of Inala Nature Tours. Karen's knowledge of the Island, its geography, history and wildlife was top rate. Karen is a skilled guide and great company and I really enjoyed touring with her. Karen has excellent birding skills, found all the birds I wanted to see and structured each day to suit me, which was fantastic. I highly recommend Karen, Inala and this Tour. I hope to get back to Inala soon, and would definitely book more tours.
Dear Penny, Thank you for such a lovely review. We are so delighted you had such a great time over your three days and nights on beautiful Bruny Island and that Karen was such a great fit as a guide for you. We look forward to welcoming you back one day,
