A visit to Bruny Island not complete without visiting Inala. I spent two nights on the property in a very comfortable cabin enabling me to explore the trails and viewing platforms that get you up close to wildlife. Perfect for observing and photographing the endemic birds and animals that inhabit this special part of Tasmania. Highly recommended for groups and solo travelers! Be sure to book a night tour with an Inala guide to see the nocturnal animals not often seen by casual tourists. Cat was my guide and she knows all the places to take you for observing quolls and possums and other hard to spot creatures!

Thank-you very much for taking the time to leave a lovely review! We too think Inala is the perfect place to base yourself for bird and wildlife watching whilst on Bruny Island, and have worked hard to create quiet nooks for observation and purpose built hides for the dedicated (or enthusiastic!) photographer. It is also great to hear that your tour was a success and that you were able to see the night come alive with our special creatures. We look forward to welcoming you back!

It was about 8 months ago since my visit and the gardens were in reasonably early stages. I thoroughly enjoyed the walk and compliment those involved in setting up the gardens. The gift shop was also a delight. I look forward to heading back at a later date to see how the gardens have expanded.

Thank-you so much for reviewing our Jurassic Garden! We have a passionate team maintaining the garden and they are always planting new stock to further extend the story of the floristic links between the southern continents. Thank-you too for the lovely feedback on the Gift Shop - we aim to support local and Tasmanian artisans whenever possible so your purchase really does extend into the community. We look forward to welcoming you back any time!

My husband and I went to Inala to find the 40 Spotted Pardalote and we were thrilled to indeed spend time watching these tiny birds and even get a couple of pretty decent photos. All thanks to Cat, our guide, who was patient with us as beginner birders and offered such interesting information. She pointed out things we would have missed and together we watched a Scarlet and Flame Robin face-off - a first for Cat! Thank you. Great morning!

Fantastic! Thank-you so much for your review! It is wonderful that you were able to get some good photos of the 40-Spots - having the viewing platform certainly helps bring you closer to the canopy. All of our guides are passionate about what they do, and it is great feedback to hear that you found your guide, Cat, a perfect match. We look forward to welcoming you back again one day!

My adult daughter and I had the most wonderful day with Cat on Inala and around Bruny Island generally. Cat is a truly wonderful guide. Her range of knowledge was staggering, and her approach to environmental issues was inspiring. We saw a wide range of birds and had a great encounter with a quoll at night. The Inala property was beautiful and Bruny Island itself is a treasure.

Thank-you very much for your review - we're so pleased that despite the winter weather, you had a wonderful day with Inala Nature Tours on Bruny Island. It is great to hear that Cat was a perfect fit for you and that you had an inspirational tour, and it sounds like the Eastern Quoll encounter was a highlight! Thank-you too for the kind words about the property, we do funnel proceeds from tours back into conservation efforts at Inala and are really proud of the diversity we are able to support in this manner. We look forward to welcoming you back any time!
