Wonderful little café in historic Bothwell in the Central Highlands of Tassie. Very old building retaining its charm and a wonderful hostess with great coffee and hospitality. Look for this on your travels .

This lovely cafe is a quaint historical building which has been a store for over 140 years. The coffee is good and scones are fresh baked. Meals available too. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Gifts and local crafts are also available to browse and buy. Small book exchange as well.

We went here on the recommendation of the chap at the golf museum ... and we were glad he did so. Locally baked rabbit pies and coffee went down well with the pleasant setting and service. Worth a visit.

Don't miss this great little cafe in Bothwell. We stopped here for lunch prior to having 9 holes of golf at Ratho Farm, the oldest golf course in the Southern Hemisphere . Interestingly, this cafe building was previously occupied by a business that made and repaired golf clubs. Ros, the owner of Sealy's was such a delight and engaged with all the patrons making our lunch of homemade pies and soup most enjoyable.
Want a short break driving north or south? Don't miss this stop.

We stopped here on our way through to northern Tasmania from Hobart, and we are so glad we did. The building itself was built in 1850 and is the perfect setting for coffee and a meal. The lady (who I assume is the owner/manager) was extremely kind and helpful. She handmakes the pies which are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was very welcoming and friendly. If anybody is passing through Bothwell, I couldn’t recommend this place enough! I would very happily stop here anytime in going through the area. 10/10. The shop also has stocks and sells crafts made by local craftspeople and artists, which are well worth browsing through.
