We found the food here was excellent and with a lovely outlook. Service was good and atmosphere lovely. Nice place for a special evening meal or a great value lunch.

Thank Graeme H

We've been living in the local area for about 18 months and hadn't heard anything amazing about Tamar Cove so hadn't made it round there to eat until a couple of days ago. I had the fried rice from the $12 lunch menu and my partner had tasting plate 'B'. The rice was absolutely terrible! Very salty, soy sauce on the side, not in the least authentic or fresh and certainly not worth $12. The tasting plate was even worse. The pork belly was mainly fat and the meatball was almost raw in the middle. Service was slow and I think the waiter may have been new as he didn't seem to be able to answer many questions. We won't be back. Expensive wines by the glass and no beer on tap.

My wife and I ate here. The menu boasted scallop pies and neither of could go past them, they were delicious. Service was good and very convenient if you're staying in the motel.

Motel accommodation was clean and comfortable with no complaints. There was a small lounge suite with TV and a kitchen so if you are staying for a few nights it’s pretty self-sufficient. We ate at the restaurant for both dinner and brekkie and food was quite good with quite a few gluten free options.

We decided to give Tamara cove a try for our wedding anniversary and we weren't disappointed! The decor was lovely, wait staff and chef very attentive and accommodating with food that was outstanding!
