The restaurant was a gamble. We had not been recommended by any locals but thought we'd give it a go. The waiter was so warm, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about both the food and wine. He also was perfect at giving us attention and leaving us alone.
Now to the food. What a delight! It was creative, fresh, the flavours were perfectly balanced and very sophisticated. The interpretations of such dishes as cauliflower salad and beef tartare (which can often be tricky) were exquisite. We the had the Cowra lamb which once again had the most fabulous flavours and the fresh gnocchi which was light, colorful and heavenly.
