We have stayed at this motor inn on several occasions now and cannot fault the service. Robert and Cathy go out of their way to make sure your stay is the very best it can be. Tonight we were too tired to go out for a meal and were just going to have a packet of chips. Robert brought down a lovely slab of meatloaf he had just made, and it was delicious! No one has ever done that for us before. We're coming back in March, this is a very comfortable, welcoming place to stay, in a great little town.

Room Tip: They are all good.

Uralla is a small but historically interesting town and worth looking around. Especially pretty in autumn and winter.
Stayed at Bushranger's once before. I've found the rooms to be what country town motels should aspire to .... clean, unpretentious, spacious, reasonably priced, and not trying to be anything that it isn't and never will be.
Right on the main drag, in the centre of down town. I remember it once had a convenient, but not-so-brilliant restaurant, but that's now closed and there are plenty of other reasonably alternative options for pub grub close by.

Our family stayed two nights at this fabulous Motel. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with little highway noise.
great value for money and wonderful hosts who make you very welcome.
On our first day out from home we visited the annual Lamb & Potato Festival at Guyra then drove down to Uralla for our weekends accommodation. We also made the short trip to Tamworth on the Saturday to experience the atmosphere of Tamworth's Country Music Festival. The Bushranger Motor Inn is an ideal base when visiting the New England region and is only about twenty minutes south of Armidale.

A great friendly and well priced motel in the cosy little town of Uralla. It's not the Taj Mahal but it's comfortable and surprising quiet as the motel part is set back from the road. The town was fabulous. We only had one night but the top pub was great (brewery next door wasn't open) and there were some cool crafty shops. We also got a map and gear from the information centre and went panning for gold with the kids nearby which was fun.

What a brilliant motel! We are regular drivers along this highway, but only recently discovered the Bushranger. It's good by all the usual measures - friendly, clean, spacious, etc. - but what stood out was the little things. We care about the environment, so were delighted that the managers provided two bins in the room, to allow one for recycling. How rare this is, and how easy! We also liked that they provided a good old-fashioned shoe-cleaning box in the walkway along with buckets & windscreen cleaners. The restaurant is not operational but it does not matter, as there is an excellent hotel restaurant just up the road, that has suitable opening hours for travellers.

Room Tip: Rooms are all good!
