Found this place by chance and glad we did. Very friendly reception, excellent tariff. Comfy beds, very clean and great bathroom. Small continental breakfast provided in the room at no extra cost.
And off the highway so very quiet. Highly recommend this if passing through Tenterfield.
Don't forget to check out the F111 memorial just up the road.
A short walk to the Tenterfield Tavern for a fabulous meal.

Decor is a bit dated but otherwise the motel has everything you need. Loved the shower and the electric blankets. There was even a group of bikies staying and they didn't make a sound. We dined at the Bowling Club and the food was very nice and the meals were large. The bed was comfy and they even provide free cereal, milk, juice and toast - awesome!

The Motel was very neat and comfortable. Reception was at the Bowling Clubhouse but their EFTPOS facility was not working and we had to find a Supermarket open to get cash to pay our account, a little disappointing. The room was brand new and very well appointed, The location was off the highway and so no noise emanated from the highway traffic. This motel came with complimentary breakfast, a point missing at most establishments these days.

We booked in to this motel on recommendation and it is fantastic! Very very reasonably priced and excellent accommodation; quiet location, spotlessly clean, large modern bathroom, really comfy beds with lovely clean linen and blankets with electric blankets, complimentary continental breakfast already in room, for no extra cost! This accommodation is a real credit to the bowling club. You can see they have put their heart and sole into it. While in Tenterfield I would only ever stay at this Bowling Club Motel! Will be having dinner at the club. Brilliant!

Room tip: No tips, except book ahead as it's becoming very popular! A must stay!

An unassuming motel next to the Bowling Club. Facilities in the rooms are very well thought out and convenient. Basic breakfast was provided in the fridge, and everything worked.
The only downside was finding the office, as the club-house was under renovation, but once found the check-in was helpful and cheerful. The club offers meals, and these are so good that I would not be bothered walking the two or three blocks to the main shops.
It's well away from the highway noise, and the bed is comfy, so we had a great rest.
