Thanks Peter what a great spot! We had the house for our family and what a bargain! Great facility with everything we needed and low cost! Would recommend and will always stay if we go to Tenterfield. We went to the Bavarian beer fest

We have stayed at Golfer's Inn on numerous occasions and generally always stay there overnight while travelling to Queensland. However on this occasion we were shown to an inferior room to what we had booked.
When we queried it we were told that even though we had booked the room we wanted , the price that we were charged by Agoda was too low.
They didn't think to query it with us instead putting us in an inferior room hoping we wouldn't notice. After we complained they moved us to the house accommodation which was ridiculous accommodation for 2 people , had missing light bulbs and disconnected smoke detectors.
We were told the room we booked was unavailable (we had booked several weeks earlier) but when we checked on their website for the same night it stated that those rooms were available.
Very disappointing experience after a long drive.

Have stayed here on multiple occasions when in Tenterfield for work. Rooms are spacious and have a fridge, microwave and air conditioning. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Location is quiet, barely hear traffic noise. There was noise from other guests who were talking/smoking outside, but after 10.30 pm it was quiet. Found servicing of room intermittent and confusing, as on some days bathroom towel was replaced, but bin not emptied for 3 days and vanity not cleaned for 4 days. A magazine and newspaper disappeared from room, while not placed in or near garbage bin. Last room I stayed in had a shower curtain and magnifying mirror missing, compared to another room. Overall very good place to stay and will stay there again.

We have been travelling to the Gold Coast at this time of the year for 12 years. We have stayed in most of the motels in Tenterfield & some in Glen Innes. Last year we found the Golfers Inn. To us,this is the only place to stay. We stay in one of the two bedroom units because they have everything you could want. Full size fridge, microwave, cooktop & great air con. Peter always gives us,what I believe,is a good price. We will be back again next year.

We booked in here for a night on our return trip south. Upon meeting the owner Peter we quickly realized that we had selected the best place in Tenterfield and a better motel than most others we had stayed in on our long trip. Peter offered us free coffee from his dining room and free strawberries from his garden which we gratefully accepted. Peter offered us a large quiet room which we found to be totally correct. Our room number 19 was very large with a queen and single bed along with a large disabled bathroom. Peter also had his staff show us his larger family units which were amazing, very modern, very large and very comfortable. Everything about this motel was bigger than every other place with quality and luxury facilities and service. And it only cost up $100.00 for the night. I will go out of my way to stop here again in the future. Well done Peter.

Room tip: All rooms are of an excellent standard.
