Don't let the neglected drive up appearance put you off. We arrived to find our room pre-heated (Yes, it gets cold in Gulgong!) our fridge stocked with milk (real) bread, condiments, and very reasonable bar prices for drinks etc. We booked a family room and found extra pillows, warm blankets and electric blankets for each bed as well as an extra heater in the second bedroom. The bathroom was well stocked with towels, and toiletries, in fact, much better than the Novotel I had recently stayed in! The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment you'd need. And then there were the breakfasts! $9.00 was the most expensive for a huge cooked breakfast, with eggs done to perfection. Our hosts were excellent and made our stay very pleasant.
