Great place to meet up with friends for a drink, chat and a great atmosphere.
We met friends there, great choice of beers, cider, wine and soft drinks if you're the nominated driver. Local papers and games/quizzes on the tables which was a real entertainment for us and led to lots of laughter. Fun signs on the walls also postcards from all around the world to intrigue and invite conversation. Would highly recommend this place for a great, enjoyable night out.

Thank Lynda P

Standing outside the Rugby Tap wondering whether they admitted dogs, and we found ourselves welcomed and ushered in. There we found a very good selection of local beers in their barrels with a bottle shop next door. With no frills, it was a friendly and welcoming pub where we enjoyed talking and meeting the barman, and locals, making the most of their knowledge. The dog was fast asleep beneath the table, only waking to sample the treat given by the staff and surprising other drinkers when we left by his good behaviour as they had not realise he was there.

We often visit Rugby for a pint of good beer, as in the villages around Rugby its hard to find a decent pint, to much food focus. There are a couple of things that could do with sorting out, to many dogs, why do you allow dogs in you great pub . The owners just love their dogs to bark, yap at each other shame. its also a bit bright so turn the lighting down. Other wish we love it apart from the dogs.

An interesting Tap Room and Bottle Shop in adjacent shops. in the town centre. The Tap Room has a good selection of local beers served straight from the barrel. The bottle shop has a good range of local and national beer with the emphasis on the 'real ale' end of things. Welcoming and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

So friendly and welcoming. When was the last time you went to bar and the barman introduced themselves by name? We went to Rugby for the weekend and after discovering this watering hole, managed to visit 3 times! Hubby loved the beer, choice of 10 barrels and I loved the cider (6 varieties). Bottled beer and takeaways also available. If you like craft beer/cider try it, you won't be disappointed.
