Visited for the first time, with friends for dinner. The food was excellent and service was very good. The decor is very special. I will return.

We recently had a family birthday lunch midweek at Wentworth as we have for many previous years. The ambience is superb with elegant decor and a lovely view over the golf course. The difference this year is that the service was excellent - attentive and smiling without being overdone and the food was quite superb. What a special occasion it was for everyone in the party! As a family we have been going to Wentworth for more than fifty years - hopefully we will be able to continue in the future.

All I can say is excellent place, brilliantly organised in all respects. Logistically superb, an excellent day all round.

My son got married here last Saturday and it could not have been better. Nothing was to much trouble, all of the staff members were polite, had a smile on their faces and were attentive without being obtrusive. The food was fantastic, I have never had a piece of steak as tender as that. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The only slight down side was the decor needs a bit of attention, but I believe this is all being taken care of very soon.

The restaurant is beautiful and the food is good but for such a prestigious establishment it should be better.

The menu lacked vital information I.e the scallops were fried in breadcrumbs, no mention of this.

Gluten free bread options were the same bread you'd get at the gluten free section of Tesco.

Wine was amazing, main course was great and dessert was fabulous.

Overall not a negative experience, but just expected more.
