“Comfortable & convenient oasis”
Reviewed 7 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We stayed 4 nights while visiting family and doing some sight seeing in London. It was a comfortable and convenient oasis. Heath was a welcoming, friendly and very helpful host. The room was large, light and airy with good facilities.

“Great location”
Reviewed 22 May 2016 for a stay in March 2016

This is a great location to stay in a quite residential area with easy access to the river Thames, Hampton Court and surrounding area for shopping, walking or simply just taking in the sights. We arrived late in the evening and Heath the owner was brilliant, checking we had arrived safely and had gained access to the property as she was unable to be on site to greet us. Breakfast was also provided in the way of croissants, orange juice, cereal, tea, fresh coffee and milk which is all left for you.

Just a couple of points why I have not rated this 5/5:- We had a lovely bowl of fruit left for us, unfortunately several pieces had gone bad which were hidden by the fruit on the top which was slightly off putting.

You are only provided with 2 cups/2 bowls and 2 side plates which you then have to wash in the bathroom. I would have preferred to have them replaced on a daily basis.

This is just a couple of points that do not detract from a great place to stay.

HI David, many thanks indeed for the review. Id be happy to replace the dishes as they are used although if the blinds are always kept tight shut it's hard to know when is a good time to do this in case you disturb a guest. Some people really like to stay private. Anyway i guess advice for future guests is not to hesitate to ping me a message if i can help in any way.

“Perfect holiday retreat in lovely location but also within easy reach of centre of London”
Reviewed 7 March 2016 for a stay in August 2015

This really was such a lovely relaxed, private, friendly and comfortable place to stay and the area itself has so much by way of restaurants, interesting boutique and antique shops, lovely walks and tourist attractions but also so easy to catch a train in to the big city from nearby Hampton Court Station. Heath was so welcoming and friendly but without intruding and the studio feels very private and cosy and is set in such a beautiful yard surrounded by plants and flowers. Just a short hop to the River Thames and walks along the Thames Path and only a short walk over bridge to Hampton Court Palace. My only grumble was the mattress a bit too soft for my tastes but that's more of a personal foible as I prefer a harder bed than a criticism. Would definitely recommend if you're a solo traveller as the studio and area felt very safe and would also suit a couple as plenty of space for 2 in the studio. Excellent value for money too.
