We were greeted with a smile and that pretty much lasted for the whole of our stay at this boutique hotel.
We left our car at the venue whilst we visited Nelsons Gin School for a fab day of distilling our own gin. We returned after the event with newly made acquaintances & had a few drinks & nibbles in the bar area. The bar tenders were very knowledgable about the various gins that they sold as we were eager to sample more to carry on our gin fest.
We later checked in our room which was delightful even though it didn't have much of a view. We later had a lovely meal, again served by charming staff where nothing was too much trouble. We had a very comfortable nights sleep. We took breakfast that morning in the same cosy booth in which we'd had dinner the previous evening. Once again service with a smile I had a bacon butty & asked if I could have poached eggs on the side, "no problem" I was told once again! The bacon I have to say was amazing and the eggs just added to it! On checkout once again we were greeted with a smile and we were asked if we'd enjoyed our stay, ( which of course we had.)
I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this friendly hotel if ever I were in the area again.More
