“Nice building in a nice town, handy for everywhere”
Reviewed 24 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Arrived to find the house immaculately clean and fresh linen on the bed. Unlike the rest of Leek, the parking is marvellous, as are the neighbours. Great fish & chip shop (breaded not battered fish) 100m away, 200m away is Blue Mugge - classic old pub and one of the best in Leek. 400 m away is Waitrose. Get yourself a Waitrose card and have a free newspaper and coffee whenever you visit.. Landlord was super helpful during my long stay. Last but not least, World of Wedgwood is amazing and only 30 mins away - a great restaurant with a rather nice factory attached!

“The property really needs some TLC, very shabby”

The house is in an ideal location to explore the Peak District and the surrounding streets are fairly quiet. When we arrived at the house, we were very dismayed by the state of the carpet in the house which is very stained and dirty. The next morning we discovered that the house is fairly clean but very worn and shabby. The bedclothes were worn and 'bobbly' and we felt the need to purchase sheets from the late night supermarket before we could go to bed. The shower does not drain away leaving you standing in dirty water. It is such a shame because the property is quite unique and Leek is a lovely town.

“Nice and welcoming house in the center of Leek, perfect for the Peak District”
Reviewed 27 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

The house is in a converted silk mill, nicely fu rnished and in the center of Leek, with good pubs and within easy distance to the Peak District. Perfect for a hiking break or Alton Towers.

“Great value for money”
Reviewed 9 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Lovely apartment in the heart of Leek, perfect for our visit to the Peak District.
Clean, spacious and our little boy (aged 9) loved the play room on the bridge.

“great”
Reviewed 31 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The house was just amazing it had literally everything we need.
The welcome basket really surprised us when we came into the house and it felt very welcoming. Around the area there is a lot of great things to do.
We went to the roaches , Alton towers for 2 days which was only 19 minutes away and monkey forest. There are also a lot of pubs and takeaways to enjoy.
will definitely consider coming back again and recommend it to everyone.
