A great place to visit and we enjoy the food and atmosphere. Overall we really enjoy eating here and seems to have a good reputation with the locals. A few negatives though. It’s a little cramped with not much space. The chairs are awfully uncomfortable and small. The tables are a little tired and seem to attract dirt and food in the ‘cracks and groves’ of the natural wood. They just don’t look hygienic.
The food is really good but on the last visit, the breakfast baps were let down with horrid untoasted shop bought panni style bread. Horrible and bland. A place like this should be using Artisan breads like the Rye Bakery (which are stunning) I believe they do better breads as they do an amazing welsh Rarebit.
Will still eat there but will avoid the breakfast baps.
