“Wonderful location Property not developed to its potential.”

Warm welcome Stunning location Fantastic for military mach loop. We had a real fun week with amazing weather each day. But advert does not tell the full story ! There is no privacy !
people are on the land all the time and will wonder into the rental thinking its still a church as there are no signs to inform people, this makes it insecure and not pet friendly. Plus this has no proper Toilets only portapottys to which you have to empty ! really not happy about that.
Kitchen really needs a refit there is no Washer?dryer/dishwasher . The sleeping pod is really nice and well made and its full of interesting timbers and stained glass. Note no windows can be opened. It is grade 2 with lots of building restrictions and a low budget refurb but has great potential. I dont think its suitable for the infirm -pets- people who like privacy or anyone who hates the idea of camping toilets. might not be a great review and we did have a lovely holiday but think we may always remember it for the wrong reasons. A better honest clear advert would be a big help but if you are looking for something different then this is it. .

Ouch !! Where did that review come from .....?!
You chose a holiday in a part converted 15th Century Church ... a truly beautiful old building in one of the finest parts of Wales ...The convertion of this Grade 2* listed building came with a lot of planning restraints ...such as having to install the Eco toilet system ..a modern Swedish design, and one ,if properly used, is brilliant ..
I'm sorry that the kitchen hadn't got all the trappings of your's back home but surely you didn't need a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier on a weeks holiday ... and to say that it needs a refit ...I only finished it last July ..!!
Our Church grounds are open to the public I agree ,but only a few visitors call and the signs on the building clearly state that it's in private ownership.. we also have an area of half an acre just next to it for your personal use ...
I wish you had grasped the concept of this holiday ...one that can really stir the senses ... and a real treat for most people ...
obviously not you though...
Regards
Pete

“Breathtaking”
Reviewed 18 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

This is a very special place. The area it is situated in has to be one of the most beautiful places in Britain. Stunning views of the valley and the calm lake. The chapel itself is peaceful and homely. If you want to relax and forget the stresses of everyday life, this is the place to go. The bedrooms are comfortable, you forget your sleeping in a chapel. Couldn't have enough good things to say about our stay here, will definitely be coming back.
