“Exceptional place - hope to return.”
Reviewed 15 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vineyard Cottage and would recommend it highly. Cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Also easy to park (which had worried me beforehand). Unspoiled countryside with good walks nearby by the Thames, and great for visiting places like Oxford, Blenheim or Bletchley Park. Our daughter lives in London and was able to join us for a few nights as location allowed this. We had a great barbecue on the terrace, weather being kind. Fiona went out of her way to be helpful to us and ensure everything was fine for my wife (who is disabled).

comfortable cottage quiet and with every amenity provided included a very well equipped kitchen close to a lot of National and historic towns and properties- Oxford very close. .Lovely surroundings right near to Thames in little hamlet.

Liked best: the quiet location and clean and comfortable cottage
Liked least: the inside smelt a bit musty when we first arrived - perhaps needed to be aired

“Very high standard”
Reviewed 3 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Vineyard Cottage. We had read the positive reviews and weren't disappointed. The cottage was very clean on arrival and everything ready to use. We appreciated all the equipment that was provided, I don't think there was anything missing, we forgot to bring a pen and there was one in the kitchen drawer. No complaints at all and it was a good base for nearby attractions and easy to get into London from Didcot on the train. Thanks for the wine, eggs and chocolate which were there on arrival. I have rated 5 stars and this is fully deserved.

“Well equipped and quiet area”
Reviewed 15 May 2016 for a stay in December 2015

Our stay at The Vineyard Cottage was very pleasant and the cottage was very clean. Walking distance to post office shop and pub nearby. Off road parking in front of the cottage for convenience. The beds were comfortable and the washing machine and dryers were an added bonus.

I'm glad you found the cottage to be well equipped and the beds comfortable. Nothing spoils a trip away more than a bad nights sleep on an uncomfortable bed!

“Very Well Equipped!”
Reviewed 14 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

Cottage was very well equipped and comfortable with everything you might need. Also good selection of basic comestibles provided, (so often absent). Not really able to use outside area due to weather, (but was November after all!). Parking fine (off-road) and cottage within walking distance, (and staggering distance back!), of excellent Barley Mow Inn. Courtyard arrangement, so somewhat limited privacy in outside areas. If this doesn't bother you then can thoroughly recommend the property.

Pleased that you enjoyed your stay. The garden does not look its best in November but In spring and summer, the private terrace is well screened by shrubs and trees in leaf.
