Just back from a 2 day break, bought from KJB deals, was a lovely hotel, in a beautiful village, the room was comfortable & spacious, food was fantastic with very friendly staff, all round we had a great break & the location is perfect for touring around.

We stayed one night here on a voucher at an amazing price. We had a comfortable twin room and a very warm welcome. The hotel is a 'tired old lady' but the staff are working hard to update it and we felt welcomed by staff and locals alike. The food is excellent but beware the portions are huge. The breakfast too was good and I would really recommend the sSeahouses kipper - wonderful.

The situation of the pub is great for visiting the lovely Northumberland coast and we were so lucky we visited it in the heatwave and saw it at its stunning best.

Room Tip: We had a room at the front and even it was hot enough to have the windows open it was still quiet

We stayed here for our weekend break in February 2012. The room was very large and comfortable. The food was excellent, we enjoyed steak on the Friday night, a lovely breakfast both mornings. What really made the weekend were the wonderful staff - all so friendly! Thank you for a lovely stay and we would stay again.

We booked a 2 day trip through a kgb deal and we were more than happy with everything. The hotel is old but very clean and our bedroom was large and comfortable. Breakfast both mornings was lovely and we also ate in the hotel both evenings and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Friday night was steak night and it was great value at £10.00 per head with a free drink thrown in! Hotel is in the middle of the town of Belford which doesn't have much in it but within a short drive away we went to Alnwick, Seahouses, Bamburgh etc and they are all lovely places. Weather was stunning so all in all a great wee weekend away. Big thank you to all the staff who were all very helpful.
