Great place to blow the cobwebs off & feel alive strolling in the sun with the breeze on your face. The dogs love the miles of golden sand & the freedom to run about. Great place after being stuck in with the rain the last few days Thenalong the coast to Seahouses for an ice cream

Gorgeous walk along this beach - enormous empty spaces of golden sand and the impressive castle on one side. Dog friendly and really clean. It was only about 4 degrees and slightly drizzly but we could have stayed all day. Just stunning and good for the soul.

Love this beach. It’s unspoilt, clean, dog friendly and the views of Lindisfarne, Bamburgh Castle and the Farne Islands are fantastic. Great walk. A must visit.

A long wide beach with no development to spoil the view and the castle in the background. The sand is very firm and flat so very easy to walk on.

Unfortunately there are far too many dogs around, which seems to be an issue with the majority of beauty spots nowadays. Not everybody adores them.
