My wife ask the person/chef behind the fir a table for 2. His reponse was yes, but maybe a little slower than usual as he was running the bar as well.
Was taken to an empty restaurant and seated by the bay window, overlooking the garden
Young friendly waitress took our order from the limited menu.
We waited and waited and noticed that the person behind the bar, wearing a chef jacket was still serving drinks in the bar. Obviously our meal we order was not yet started, as the kitchen was at the other end of the pub.
We decided to finish our drinks, and eat at a nearby restaurant.
30+ years ago this pub was extremely busy day and night. Direct knowledge!
