“Last minute booking but glad we did.”
Reviewed 2 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Booked here at last minute along with a 2nd apartment just around the corner. We have visited the beach at Hunmanby many times but this is ther first time we have stayed over for a family break and ideal for a poorly relative. We were on the first floor apartment and felt it had everthing we needed for a birthday weekend including a nice bottle of Cava from the owner which was a lovely touch. Everything was clean, tidy and well stocked but I felt the bed was not the comfiest. The other party had a dog and we were just nextdoor to a meadow for walkies. 10 minutes form Filey and the nearest supermarket. The Bay has a pub and italian resturaunt both do take out which was good to know but didnt bother. There is no little shop on site but it does have a pharmacy. People who have difficulty in walking need to be aware of the steep hill from the beach. My dad managed it ok as there are seats. we did move on the Hunmanby gap where there was disabled parking. Still a hill but not as long and a cafe to tempt you. we all felt the Bay just missed a evening entertainment program but for us it was just right.

“Lovley place”
Reviewed 1 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We booked this apartment not knowing what to expect from Yorkshire. I would have to say we were very pleasantly surprised. The apartment itself is a lovely modern first floor apartment with everything you could need on a lovely quiet almost residential Park. The bay as a resort is well maintained and nice and peaceful if you like chips and bingo don't stay here. There are lots of places to explore from this location for example Whitby Robin Hood's Bay Filey Scarborough york Bridlington all of which we visited. If you fancy going out for a meal the monsoon Indian restaurant in Filey just down from Tesco comes highly recommended also the piebald inn and the cottage in Hummanby Will not disappoint you. We stayed at number seven the Woodspring for 10 nights and we wish we were still there.

“Great place, great value!”
Reviewed 14 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We booked at short notice and were very impressed by the prompt service. The property was ideal, clean, modern and comfortable. We were amazed that the only issue we had was resolved immediately. We would certainly choose both the property and the location again.

“Nice Modern Flat”
Reviewed 18 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

The accommodation is clean, warm and well maintained. The beach is a fifteen minute walk from the flat and is at the bottom of a steep slope. To make full use of this holiday rental a car is a must. This holiday represents good value
