Just had a lovely nights stay in this beautifully renovated boutique B&B! All the rooms were decorated superbly and very quirky!
Host Sarah was lovely and very welcoming, and a gorgeous breakfast to boot!
Would definitely recommend.
Had a fabulous time, many thanks,
Emma & Richard

This was my fourth stay at Stow House and for good reason. Everything about Stow House is wonderful. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable. We really liked the free standing bath in the bedroom. Breakfast was exceptional. Dogs are welcomed not just tolerated as with many places.
Most importantly Sarah is a fantastic host. Nothing is too much trouble and she makes an excellent G&T.

Room Tip: The rooms on the front have lovely views.

Stow House has charm, style, fabulous rooms and is set in beautiful grounds with views of countryside, mountains and in the distance, Bolton Castle. Service is second to none - the hostess makes every effort to ensure that you are comfortable and thoroughly enjoy your stay. We have stayed three times and each occasion has been special. A lovely place to stay.

Over the years, bed and breakfasts have really upped their game and they are now a very real alternative to hotels of any standard. Stow House is an excellent example. This old vicarage has been transformed into 7 comfortable bedroom/bathroom suites. Everywhere is immaculate and sparkling clean, none more so than the bathrooms which exude indulgence. This is a high end priced b/b but Sarah knows her market and ensures that the value equation is met. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked.
Aysgarth is a beautiful location and there are plenty of good walks for all level of challenges. Supper can be had within walking distance of Stow House with the Aysgarth Falls Hotel offering excellent value.

We came away feeling really rested having had a few days at Stow House, ideal for a St Valentine's break. We went walking each day regardless of the weather and had a lovely time. We felt really at home at Stow House which is a large Victorian house on the outside, but inside the funky decor is amazing. There is even a photograph of Kate Moss behind the bar. Sarah and Phil made as very welcome. The views towards Bolton Castle are spectacular in the early morning sunshine. There are great pubs and restaurants nearby, and Sarah was very helpful with recommendations.

Room Tip: The Love Birds room has a great view towards Bolton Castle
