We called in here mid - walk, and had a chat with a couple who had just demolished their steak and ale pies, and gave them the thumbs up. A good sign!
Mrs B had the sea bass which she thought were excellent. It came with saute potatoes, chorizo and samphire. I chose the chicken from the specials board, and it certainly was special. The blue cheese sauce and dauphinoise potatoes were excellent. The dishes arrived with a large bowl of vegetables - beautifully cooked broccoli and small whole carrots.
There is obviously a very competent chef working his magic here.
Puddings - local rhubarb, meringue and ice cream was declared to be absolutely delicious.
