First time I stayed here, found it very clean and tidy and they followed all the guidelines, quiet on the nighttime, friendly and helpful staff, was helpful to be able to go in and out where needed with no fuss or hassle, would stay here again.I did stay there for funeral reasons.

Stayed in Holiday Inn over Christmas while visiting family. The location is very convenient for the rail station and town centre shops, however the surroundings are not particularly attractive. There is a decent Indian restaurant across the road, although it was closed due to Covid restrictions.

Rooms are small but comfortable and have an attractive modern design. Cleaning was immaculate. Despite covid restrictions breakfast bags and bacon/sausage baps were available to collect and eat in your room.

Reception staff were friendly and very rigorous with enforcement of Covid lockdown rules. The hotel felt very covid secure and hand sanitiser was available everywhere.

Room tip: Rooms facing away from the railway station are quieter

Booked for a two night stay , the staff were friendly and explained the covid rules well. The room was lovely, good sized and very clean. Breakfast ok a bit basic but only because of covid situation. Would stay again.

Our room had everything you need with the all important comfy bed and super clean bathroom.

Check in was very Covid19 safe and staff were friendly and efficient.

Excellent, central location and extremely good value for money.

Our pet, Princess Pandora, accompanied us and was made welcome for a charge of £20.

Room tip: We overlooked Wellowgate Street and have no complaints.

We chose to stay this weekend because The Yarbrough Hotel was full and the rooms at the Holiday Inn looked very modern.

We were a little put off that it was almost £100 for 1 night in Grimsby but chose to go for it anyway.

The rooms are ok. Quite modern and clean but nothing spectacular. In my opinion for a room thats almost twice the price of the Yarbrough hotel it certainly didnt deserve it.

Staff - the lady who checked is in was telling us that we now had to wear masks - SHE DIDNT have one on!

A big thank you to the other lady who let us stay in bed another couple of hours as we got in late. It would have been 2 stars if it wasnt for you.

Thanks

Hi Dnewe91,

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay.

Please note that staff members are not required to wear masks while stood on the reception desk behind the screens, as soon as we enter the hotel lobby areas we are required to wear one just like guests.

We hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future.

Kind Regards,
Dylan Robson,
Guest Service Manager.
