By far the worst food I have ever been served ... Vastly over priced, small portions poor service at drive thru . Best to find another chippy or go through a bin.. Curry sauce swimming in fat or oil .. Fish was £4 ! .. Chips small and hard ... Comes in a container that leaks all the salt and vinegar out of the holes in the bottom think this is stupid .. We will never visit again most of the meal went in the bin .

Tried this brand new drive through takeaway fish and chip outlet.Packaging similar to McDonalds!
Nowhere near the quantity of food for the money-but the quality is very good. You can drive through, takeaway or eat in. Directly in competition with McDonalds and Kentucky Fried Chicken across the road.
We thought we would be getting a similar 'chippy' to the Colne outlet-very disappointed.
Probably still be going to Colne!

Joke! No steak pudding told would have to wait 15 mins, so agreed to waiit only to be told that wasn't the case. Agreed to order steak pie instead.. Then asked for fish without batter, but told that couldn't have that, As this would only confused the chief! Ha ha. Not awkward but can't digest batter like many other people.

After opening a drive-thru Banny's Chippy in Burnley I thought I would give them a go.. Utter crap.. inedible over priced, small portions, slow service.. the curry sauce I ordered was swimming in like a gluepy oil, the chips where small, over cooked and rock hard. The portion size is a joke for the very high cost of it.... it really was bad. If its still open in 6 months I will be surprised as it would have been open 5 months too long. Banny's Drive-thru you need to change your whole ethos and bussines model.. what a rip off VERY, VERY POOR.. we will never return

This restaurant opened very recently in new premises close to other fast-food operators. At first advertised as opening on Monday 01/06/15, the premises opened a week later. One legacy of the opening delay is that the tills could not handle card payment. We arrived a little before noon on Tuesday 16/06/15, to a cheery greeting. It was fortunate that we carried cash.

Seating is a choice of banquette or wooden chairs. Some seating is in booths. There are lanterns, blue and white colours and framed pictures of seaside subjects. The fish&chips speciality isn't proclaimed as loudly as at Banny's Colne restaurant.

Consistency is important in mass catering. Our two portions of haddock with chips achieved that. Both of dense bright-white flesh and in crispy batter without interior liquid, they were prepared as well as we hoped. The chips were a good uniform colour and texture. We prefer twice-cooked skins-on chips, but these were the best of alternatives. The mushy peas - at extra charge - were almost the equals of any we've had. Ideal texture, not pulped: and without food colouring to render them bright green, they were sensitively cooked to preserve natural colour. What we wish for is that mushy peas prepared with mint and lemon juice were more commonly served. We forgave the accompanying sachet of tartar(e) sauce, always too sweet. The buttered teacake - also at extra charge - wasn't buttered: rather, a spread of sorts was deployed. That's harder to forgive.

My cappucino was of a deep, satisfying flavour. On an earlier visit to review the breakfast service I was offered a serving of chocolate atop the cappucino: it's disappointing that this small element of consistency is missing from the service of a rather fine cappucino.
