“A design-conscious house in a great location.”
Reviewed 5 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

We enjoyed Matthew’s characterful house furnished with many vintage pieces. The house was in a great location off Whitstable’s main high street .

We enjoyed browsing around the many independent shops and sampling local Kent produce including wonderful apple juice and Kentish ales.

We recommend trips to eat out at the Lobster Shack, East Quay, Whitstable, as well as Jo Jo’s Cafe in Tankerton and visiting Turner Contemporary in nearby Margate.

“Perfect place from which to explore wonderful Whitstable”
Reviewed 5 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

This is an extremely comfortable and cosy house, conveniently situated within walking distance of Whitstable's restaurants, shops and harbour. With plenty of space for our party of 4 children and 2 adults, free wifi and relaxed tasteful decor, we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

“Charmingly comfortable”
Reviewed 5 November 2013 for a stay in November 2013

I would like to write a bad review, so you don't consider this house and I have full availability, but unfortunately that would not be nice or true.

Extremely homely and tastefully furnished house. 3 bedrooms and we all had our privacy. Nice big TV and fast internet, which we all used. Kitchen fully stocked with equipment and lovely dining room

Bathroom AKA sauna, was lovely and warm with hot water on demand.

Loved the fact the heating was settable, which is great when visiting the seaside during the winter (cold weather). Comfortable living room where we all lay about.

Also with kids, there was nothing to break and we didn't have to worry about children running around

We will be back....

“Girly weekend getaway”
Reviewed 8 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We had a GREAT time at the Ventings. We were greeted by Matt into his cosy house, beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds. It was the perfect place to base ourselves for our much needed girly weekend. With a large kitchen & dining table it ensured our wine fuelled meals were easy & comfortable, - a stones throw from the shops meant everything was accessible. All in all a very enjoyable stay. Not recommended for young children due to very steep stairs.
