Friendly and attentive staff, lovely atmosphere. Food was delicious, especially the burgers! Reasonably priced and well located for the sea front and the Margate Winter Gardens. Well worth a visit. Our party of eight had a lovely time.

Had a really nice time at Roost, very relaxed café atmosphere. Good food and wine and local beers.
Good for families and couples.

4 of us enjoyed lunch here today and we were not disappointed! Starters were generous and between us we ordered the Mad Cow and Tempura Crab burger, Chilli Dog and 1/2 chicken with Mac & Cheese on the side for mains. All 4 of us were impressed with the food and the desserts were just as delicious. The service was excellent too, we can't wait to visit again.

This was recommended by CTR ALT DEL - one of the escape rooms in Margate. We came here while waiting to get into the room.
The "family" feeling hits you from the door. It seems a DIY setup restaurant, which made us feel very comfortable.
The staff is adorable, very friendly, easy going, with options for any food allergies.

The only reason I have rated this with 2* was the food. My fiancee got a tempura crab - which was miserable.. there was no meat, and seems to have been thrown into the pan without first to be cleaned- he couldn't get anything from it.
I've got slat and pepper squid, which was a bit better, but very oily, I've shared it with Robert anyway, as we were really hungry.
Please do not miss this restaurant because our first bad food experience, as maybe you can order something else and it will be as great as the place is.

Visited today Saturday 10th Feb
Sat in the window seats using the binoculars to look at the ships while eating lunch with my wife , the food was very nice indeed and the service was very good also especially the young lady with the tattoos who’s was friendly and professional and not too over the top like a lot of other places “sorry young lady we didn’t catch your name “. Even though it’s about a mile from our house we have never visited before but this place was brought to light by a great review on Facebook by my wife’s friend and we will certainly be going back .
