Owner description: A Real Ale and Cider micro-pub in a former fisherman's hut on the Harbour Arm at Margate

Lovely atmosphere sat outside in the sunshine. Friendly staff and lovely cider. Only downside is the toilets are disgusting so we couldn’t stay for very long before we had to find a loo!

The Old GITS Decided to take advantage of the Ambrette Restaurant cheap lunch deal which we love but, we do also love to pop in to the award winning Harbour Arms Micro Pub for a couple of Beers Cider whatever. The selection is brilliant and despite the hail stones and gale blowing we were tucked in nice and cosy enjoying our selves and chatting with the charming hostess of the day. The sun came out in the end and it was high tide so a lovely view to look at as well. Fully charges we braved the gales; being hardy types; and drove round the corner to the Ambrette Restaurant, subject of my next review. Most recommended little Pub.

Really friendly atmosphere with warm community feel.... Fab views from to harbour across to Margate esplanade... 2 mins ish walk from The Turner Contempory. Oh and the beer is not too shabby! Perfect on a warm summer evening.

Looked forward to visiting this pub. Excited after researching micro pubs in Margate. Arrived as two women asking if they had any pale ale. Scoffed at ever so slightly as if we were asking for lager. Really didn’t feel welcomed at all. Would recommend the Fez. A lovely mixed environment, sadly harbour arms didn’t have this at all.

This place is brilliant in the Summer, as it overlooks the harbour and beach and gets the sun most of the day. Good selection of real ales and ciders kept cool in stillage, and usual micro pub prices. Near to seafood stall, Turner Contemporary Kent Indoor Market, the Marketplace and some more ale houses, so a must for a pub crawl, especially as now precautions are in place to prevent falling into the harbour !!!
