Lovely pub and superb food. Cheesy chips a bit expensive for the amount you get but overall very satisfied

Good meal with friends at the end of a lovely walk in the countryside around Hythe. Lovely food and friendly helpful staff. OK range of beers but a couple more local beers would be good. There is a good vegetarian menu if you manage to spot it on the back if the Children's menu.

We were lucky that our B&B host recommended and booked us a table at the lovely pub. Full of character from when we walked in to the friendly table service. Very busy on a Friday and our food still came out promptly and with a smile. Portions were big and I mean big. No room for dessert and glad we didn’t have starters even though we were hungry. My homemade Burger was very tasty though struggled with the 10oz! My partners Cheese & Steak pie was also impressive. Along with a couple of great tasting 1664’s each, it was a excellent dining & relaxing evening. Highly recommend

Excellent food, busy restaurant/pub at the end of the lovely old high street, near the canal and beach within walking distance, best to book a table. The Pub itself is a lovely old building. Think the plants outside have seen better days: Some nice flowers would look great, rather than dead ones hanging around the top.
