We do not normally drink locally but decided that the £10 for a bottle of prosecco on a Friday was worth popping into the crown for. It was very busy but the staff were very attentive and atmosphere was friendly. The new manager introduced himself and then offered to show us around the b&b rooms that have recently been refurbished. As we live locally we were not looking for rooms but after walking along the newly decorated corridors and then entering the room I could have easily paid to stay! Immaculate, comfy, tea,en suite facilities and little details like flowers and that new room smell!
The history alone should be enough to make you want to visit(especially if the tunnel that leads from here to the church can be viewed as they are hope to do) I wish the new manager good luck and hope that the love and great customer service pays off for them.More
