Owner description: We are Deal's Micropub. Started in December 2011 we are now firmly part of the Deal community. We specialise in real ales from microbreweries across the UK and have a constantly changing menu. Beers are kept in a temperature controlled room, served directly from the cask and brought to you. We also sell: real ciders; a selection of wines and soft drinks; a limited range of snacks including Kentish cheese; Kent crisps and pork pies from a local, award winning butcher. We do not sell lager or spirits nor do we have piped music or television. Mobile phones can be used to access the internet but a ringing phone results in a fine (money going to the Pilgrims Hospice). We offer a friendly and unique venue in Deal and hope to see you soon.

This is a pub like no other. Tucked in a corner in an old shopfront, there is no bar and drinks are brought to your table. It carries a good range of wines and excellent craft beers as well as the usual suspects. Good points; very dog friendly, no mobiles or modern devices allowed so encourages conversation in the old fashioned way (remember that). In fact there is a fine if your phone rings with proceeds to charity. Bad points - none whatsoever. This is on my Deal must visits from now on.

A tiny little pub -- seats 20-25 at most -- in Deal, serving real ale, local cider, gin and a little wine (oh, and snacks if you need to soak it up). Filled with regulars and casual visitors, you can sip you beer or chat with your table mates. And no cell phones allowed as emphasized to the samples nailed to the wall. We've been three times already and will almost certainly return again (and again).

We found this little gem a couple of months ago and revisited with friends recently. It is a comfortable friendly place. The ales are well worth the visit and there is prosecco for the ladies.

Lovely chatty atmosphere. A small but good selection of ales and ciders and even wine and soft drinks for non beer drinkers. Friendly and helpful staff, dog friendly. Nice to sit and chat, rather than listen to blaring music. The Ciders are seriously good !

Lovely micropub just off the sea front. Good clientele and friendly service.

The ales on offer covered a wide range of styles and tastes but we were after cider.

There were 4 on tap which seemed great but 3 if these were fruit-flavoured which was a bit much. This left as with only the Abrahalls to try; beautifully kept and slipped down without touching the sides. Good job we had a train to catch!
